Memorial Challenge Coin - Air Evac Lifeteam 16

STORY BEHIND THE COIN
When this tragedy happened I felt completely helpless. I spent days trying to come to terms with what had happened and then started thinking of ways that I could help. Not only help myself, but everyone who has been touched by this loss, and especially those family members left behind. As a result, I decided to mint a "challenge coin" in memory our loved ones onboard AEL 16.

I received the coins today and was so impressed with the beauty of this very thoughtful memorial for these three heroes. Their families must be very proud. Special thanks to Michael Sheedy who made this coin possible and allowed those who knew them to have a keepsake to be reminded of their spirits. I did not personally know any of them, but my husband, through his profession, worked with Allan and spoke of him often. He always said that Allan was always happy--this must be true because every description I've read about him reveals that same description. I purchased this coin for my husband to give to him on Easter. I'm sure he will be as pleased with it as I am. Thanks again, Michael.

I have received a few emails about the coins as people are getting them, I would like to (and will) share the various comments here. They mean so much to me and am sure they will mean the world to the loved ones left behind.

"I got both of the coins I ordered today. I want to thank you for all of your time and effort in creating and sending out the coins. I am glad that there is now something to remember the crew by that can be kept with you at all time."
