STORY BEHIND THE COIN
When this tragedy happened I felt completely helpless. How this event affected me was quite a shock as I had recently spent the more than 4 years dealing with death daily on an intimate level as a death investigator. I spent days trying to come to terms with what had happened and then started thinking of ways that I could help. Not only help myself, but everyone who has been touched by this loss, and especially those family members left behind. As a result, I decided to mint a "challenge coin" in memory our loved ones onboard AEL 16.
